ZFS

Although I'm not there, the word from WWDC is that ZFS is not going to be in Snow Leopard at all.

Infrageeks has some detail.

This is disappointing.

While the zfs feature set is very drool-worthy, I have colleague that hasn't been
able to deploy 2 thumpers because of it's poor nfs performance for over a year.
I think Apple is making the right call here letting the cake fully bake before
rolling it out. Slow and unstable filesystems have no place in a production
environment.

While I would love to see ZFS, I'm OK holding off as well. You can roll your own (unsupported) or obtain most of the features through third party apps (supported) as it stands. So while I agree that it's disappointing, I'm not going to worry about it much beyond that.
