even a wrong serial number in the config.plist files doesen´t matter, as long
as a valid serial number (not watermarked!)is written in the /etc/.../xsan file!
Also, if i add the serial number and "watermak" lines (from the old role.plist)
<key>watermark</key>
<string>Xsan|Developer Seeding</string>
to the config.plist file, it ends up in a "License authorization failure"!
here are the two lines that are logged in the all messages log:
24.06.08 18:51:18 sudo[421] root : TTY=unknown ; PWD=/ ; USER=root ;
COMMAND=/bin/mkdir -m 777 /Volumes/snfs1
24.06.08 18:51:19 authexec[424] executing
/System/Library/ScriptingAdditions/StandardAdditions.osax/Contents/MacO
S/uid
As soon as i enter a normal serial number to the etc/../xsan file,
mounting is
ok!
Shouldn´t be someone out there who knows how this is designed to work?
