I bought this item to help with my work on cloud security. This product works, it is okay but not on par with what I expect from a Fibre Channel adapter in a computer. First it does not come with SFPs so you have to add that cost and find ones that work! Second it is old technology, it is only 4Gb... current tech is 8Gb which means if I connect 1 8Gb port of my storage into this, it is throttled down to less than half of the Thunderbolt performance capability!
