CineRAID 700F RAID decent alternative?

Does anyone have any experience with the CineRAID 700F fibre channel storage units for use with XSan? ( http://www.cineraid.com/products/700_72F.htm ) They tout XSan compatibility- it appears to be your typical single or dual fibre channel controller disk box. However the cost is far less than an equivalent unit from Promise, which is what we were looking at before. And you can bring your own disks from a list of supported ones. But I'm having a little trouble finding actual people using these units with Xsan.

No one ever got fired for buying Promise/Dot Hill/Xserve RAIDs (yes I still run into these in 2014). The CineRAIDs are decent little arrays for a solid price. Most people just tend to go with the known quantity when making a purchase as big as an Xsan.

If you're looking to save some money, I suggest looking at Infortrend. I've deployed many over the years and they've proven to be solid, bang for your buck arrays.
