Qlogic 6 switch Stack

I am wondering how many setups out there have 6 switches in the fibre stack?

I am again seeing a build out with 6 switches in the stack, and in the past i have seen huge issues with latency
so wanted feedback on users that have had success with that many switches?
I know a 9000 series is the smart way to go.

How were you going to connect it all up? Multi-path across the switches to give you the redundancy? What kind of bandwidth are you pushing here? Stacking at 20G?

Even with stacking at 20G i have seen latency issue with a 6 switch stack.
And most scenarios don't allow multi-path across all switches due to the number of ports needed for storage & clients in the SAN environments i have seen.

But i am actually looking for anyone with positive results in a 6 switch stack.

Haven't had issues when using stacking cables. Always make sure there is only 1 hop between client and storage.
