XSAN re-install on a Mavericks client.

I know XSAN is now part of the OS, but I really bunged up the config files of one of my XSAN clients running Mavericks. I used to be able to uninstall XSAN and reinstall and add the client back in. Can't do that now. I think I know the answer to this (re-install the OS) but how can I re-install just XSAN?

I am not sure if it's still the same in Mavericks, but to reinstate Xsan (not reinstall, cause you can't) you would remove all the files in /Library/Preferences/Xsan

Make sure you check for hidden files using command line. Also, make sure you don't remove the folder itself but rather the content, because the folder will not be recreated (funny).

sudo xsanctl wipeConfig
This command will wipe out all the config files and reset xsand.
