I'm trying to set up a test FC Server on my Mac Mini (FCSvr v 1.5, OSX Server 10.6.1) My Mini was already hosting a website, with the default set to a custom folder.
FC Server seems to have installed ok, but when I try to navigate to 127.0.0.1/finalcutserver all I get is an "Object not found!" page.
I tried re-running the post-install.sh script as suggested here: http://www.xsanity.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=4003
This didn't fix it though - so checking out the script I found the comments "# Currently we only configure the rewrite rules to get webstart working on the default site, if it's not there, we can't configure it." So I set up a "fcsvr.local" website which points to the "/Library/Webserver/Documents" folder (thinking this might create the default site the post-install script is talking about) and re-ran the script ... but this didn't work either.
Should I be able to set the Final Cut Server client download site up on a server that's already hosting other sites? Any help with this will be most appreciated!! |
