This seems like a stupid question to me, but I can't find the answer after plowing around on a number of forums. Embarassed

I have an Xserve G5 and and Xserve RAID already set up. I am thinking about moving this to an Xsan configuration with an additional server.

Will I have to reformat the RAID to do this?

Thanks,
ScottO

Yes. Xsan is a file system. It replaces HFS+ on your storage.
