Although the WWDC site does not yet mention much detail in the way of sessions, I fully expect sessions on some of the new features of Lion that are listed on Apple's Mac OS X Lion page. For example, more information on the Profile Manager and how we will use it to manage Mac OS X computers in place of Workgroup Manager will be highly useful. Even if there is not a session on a particular aspect of Lion, I should be able to track down engineers in the Labs that can answer my questions.
I also do in-house development, mostly of small applications and Automator actions to help with workflow automation. Last year I found that many of the sessions related to graphics and media were helpful and this year I will probably attend many of the AV Foundation sessions.
At least in my case, WWDC offers much benefit for what I do each day.  |
