This one:
http://www.macrumors.com/2011/08/25/apple-releases-xsan-2-2-2-filesystem-update/
After applying the update via software update (first to controllers then to clients), The clients and servers are freezing up whenever they have to do anything with the mounted SAN volume. LDAP accounts are a disaster (logging in leads to constant freezes), and I cant even cd the volume in Terminal.
Is there any hope to fixing something like this? Errors are showing up in console such as "can't find any meta-data devices" and "volume not found" errors. |

"Can't find any meta-data devices" represents a lack of LUN visibility; check out your Fibre. If cvlabel -l isn't showing you all your LUNs, that's your problem. Probably was a fallout of rebooting.
If Xsan can't find MD devices, volumes won't come up, so lots of other stuff will fail. |
