I have simple question for professional guys: Can I lose my data when creating a volume in Xsan?
P.S. my xsan knowledge is very poor, but I'm trying to fix it.

If you have, for example, a fibre channel based storage device and have been using it as a DAS which is HFS+ formatted. In order to plug that into Xsan, you will need to 'label' it, giving it the Xsan scheme instead - which will erase the HFS+ partition.

So.. yes.
