"ERROR: E_RESTART Server was either shut down or terminated unexpectedly.."

Server:
OS 10.6.4
quad core intel duo 2.16
24GB RAM
FCS 1.5.2

Hey guys,
So, I have about 300 red files I need to ingest into FCS. I use Log and Transfer in FCP, then upload that project to FCS. This has worked in all of my tests so far when I am dealing with less files (like 5). Now we have a real job, and I need the server to work. Every-time I upload I get the following error:

"ERROR: E_RESTART Server was either shut down or terminated unexpectedly.."

Now, the client application that I am uploading the FCP file to has not quit, and I can see the server in which FCS is built on, and that has not quit or crashed. I still have connectivity to it etc. All seems fine. I get this error when I use "This Computer" as the compressor controller in the client FCS, as well as when I create a cluster and point compressor at that.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

how many video assets are in the FCP file?

I'm going through a similar problem now except I'm attempting to catalog 80TB of stuff.

What i've seen is that when FCSvr's job queue builds up because compressor has reached its max through put the server will eventually crash, report this error and the cataloging of all the assets in the queue will fail. If you only have a couple hundred assets to get through at a time I would try to create a self contained compressor cluster on your FCSvr host machine. If you still run into the issue, migrate all compressor work to a secondary server/workstation.
