A client has a large (264TB, about half full) volume originally created in 2008 with affinity groups (per Matt's article). The first 6 storage pools have the same affinity (called Video) and the remaining 7 storage pools have their own affinity (Video-7, Video-8, etc.). Is there a way of changing those first 6 to a more conventional, post-XSAN-2.0, layout? I tried with our test system by changing the affinity line in the volume cfg file and left it seriously broken!

Thanks

I'd seriously consider blowing it away and re-building with 10.7 or 10.8
