Hi

Is it possible to manage an Xserve RAID from a windows 2008 server?

Using fibre I can see raid arrays on an Xserve RAID but I can’t see the individual drives to create a raid array.

Hope this makes sense.

Thanks

It isn't clear from the page, but the Xserve RAID Admin Tools is a Java app that works on Windows and Linux (as well as Mac).

check out alienraid.org; supporting Apple Xserve RAID storage systems in non-Apple environments.

This site is very outdated, but you may find something to help you there.
