I wonder if anyone's had this issue before.

Everytime I upload or analyze a file to my FCS I get a,

Encountered error using Compressor: /././HAL/DVCPROHDAudio.plugin/Contents: dlopen

error.

I can run Compressor jobs locally on my FCS Box, but every job that goes through the final cut server system fails. If I watch the server's Dock, while the jobs are running through compressor bounces in the dock but never launches.

I've uninstalled FCServer using FCS remover and reinstalled, no help at all.

Anyone seen this? I saw one thread on the Apple boards that was similar but the stated solution (uninstall, reinstall) did not work for me. Haven't found anything on the Xsanity boards yet.

Try exporting that DVCPro clip from FCP with two channels of audio instead of four.

So, I've tried duplicating an h.264 version of a pre-existing piece of media in my server assets. Worked like a charm. Seems to be anything that calls the DVCPro codec that is choking.

Does anyone have any advice on the best way to reinstall the codec?
