I have ant Xsan volume reshared through SMB (Intel Xserve 10.5.8) to Windows XP workstations. Workstations are joined to Apple domain. Also there are couple of Windows Server 2003 servers which runs 3rd party software for moving files through the same SMB mounted Xsan volume.

Sometimes when Windows Server 2003 puts a file through SMB to the volume, Windows XP workstations cannot see it until I reboot SMB on Xserve. But the file is visible to Mac workstations through Finder AFP or Xsan clients. Also it is visible to Xserve server.

Anyone know what could be wrong?

P.S. Volume is cvfsck clean and I think this have something to do with SMB locking or similar.
