Hi,
Can we use HP LTO4 1840 SAS DRIVE with Fincal cut server.
1. make sure i can delete the content from tape through FCS.

Hi,
But I think FCS is also a backup/archive software.
If there is any please suggest. But I also want to use the FCS along with that.

its nice you think that but the truth is you need backup software to write to the LTO drive. final cut server does not have that built in. it has archive functions but LTO is not part of that. there are plenty of posts on here on how people are using backup software with the FCS/XSAN deployments.
everyone here seems to like presstore, i also use netvault. |
