Just a little thing I ran in to this week when trying to troubleshoot some QMaster stuff:

if you open Activity Monitor on the machine running the Final Cut Server software, search for the fcsvr_stored process, double click that, and look at the 'Open Files and Ports' tab, in the bottom, it lists all the connections currently active.
Nice little extra monitoring way, since the admin logs only show logins, not out, so this way you'll see you're connected machines in one glance.
